Caroline Schneider

Caroline’s research focuses on the utilization of latest remote sensing technologies and historic image archives for mine site condition assessment. Her focus lies on how geographic information based systems can aid revegetation on closed or abandoned mine sites. Since 2014, Caroline has completed a Master’s degree in Science with a focus on ecology, zoology, forestry, and remote sensing at the Eberhard Karls University of Tuebingen, Germany. Since then Caroline has volunteered at the Australian Institute of Marine Science in Perth and was invited for collaborative work as visiting scientist at the SILVIS Lab, University of Wisconsin, USA.
