Sophie is a PhD candidate in the Department of Environment and Agriculture at Curtin University. Sophie is currently studying the behavioural responses of varanids (monitor lizards) to mine site restoration. Sophie’s research interests include behavioural ecology, zoology, herpetology, and the conservation of flora and fauna.
