Bill Bateman is a wildlife biologist with interests primarily in behaviour, conservation, and ecophysiology across multiple taxa, with a special affection for reptiles. He has published over 80 papers in these areas since 2000. His interests include responses of animals to human-altered landscapes, such as urban environments and mine sites.
