Dr Todd Robinson is an expert in remote sensing of vegetation, geospatial data analytics and applications of airborne lidar. He lectures in the areas of Geospatial Analysis, Spatial Modelling, Spatial Databases and Algorithms. Todd’s research is strongly based on the use and handling of spatial data to test ecological hypotheses in new and exciting ways. Application areas include species distribution modelling (particularly rare or invasive species), species mapping from various platforms, remote sensing-based rangeland condition monitoring, geostatistics, generalized dissimilarity modelling, conservation, landscape genetics and refugia.
